Welcome To Time Hack Hero

Welcome To Time Hack Hero

– The Time Management Blog.

For many of us, we live in a world where there never seems to be enough time in the day to do the things we want to get done.

Every day, we’re dealing with demands, obligations and tasks that require our time and effort. There’s so much competing for our attention.

And there comes a point when, unless we are able to manage and prioritize our time properly, it’s easy to slip into a life of disorganization, overwhelm and chaos where nothing ever seems to get done.

But it really doesn’t have to be that way . . .

********

About this blog

This blog came about as a result of my quest to improve my own time management skills.

Looking for the best time management tools, methods and systems around can be quite overwhelming because there is a ridiculous amount of information out there.

A multitude of books making claims about which system is the most effective method to manage your time and boost your productivity.

App after app designed to help you with To-Do lists, habit tracking, monitoring and organizing.

Spreadsheets, web-based programmes and a seemingly infinite amount of blog posts claiming to have the ultimate list of “time management hacks”.

There’s actually a lot of really awesome content out there.

But to find it, you often have to work your way through a whole mountain of fluffy crap with no meaningful or useful content with real-world application, which you won’t realize until you have finished reading it, so ironically, you’ve just wasted more of the precious time you were looking to save!

And a lot of content does a great job in motivating you to become more productive but falls short when it comes to both actionable solutions and, more importantly, ways to monitor, remain accountable and develop the habits required to be better at managing your time.

When it comes to time management, people I have communicated with that have tried the various methods they have read about all make the same complaint.

And that is: in the long run, most methods usually fail.

It seems to be a bit like dieting, team building courses, learning an instrument or other new skill.

We can all get motivated in the short term, but maintaining that motivation over the long term is where things get tricky.

Also, I could not find a decent site that curates, reviews and critiques all the best time management stuff around.

So, in 2019, I decided to start working through everything I can find on the subject of time management and I must admit that my initial interest has turned into a bit of an obsession.

And as a result of that obsession, Time Hack Hero was born.

Here I want to create a kind of a “one-stop-shop” for everything relating to time management.

My aim is to collate, discuss, share and review everything useful I can find relating to time management with a view to helping others take the first step in managing their time more effectively without having to trawl the internet to find the solutions that fit them best.

Who is this blog for?

This blog is for anyone struggling to manage their time well or wanting to get more out of their days.

Your goal may be to become more effective at work or to create more time for your family or to pursue your personal interests.

Whatever it is, I guarantee there is a multitude of things you can do that you are not doing now that will help you achieve those goals.

Ultimately, I want to help you get the most out of every minute of every day – become your own “Time Hack Hero”.

This does not mean that you have to become some kind of highly-disciplined, soulless automaton of productivity.

Hell, no!

This is simply about becoming organized, reclaiming your time and making it available to spend the way you want to spend it.

So, which of the time management systems and productivity hacks actually work?

Do all of them?

Do any of them?

Well, this is what I am trying to find out . . .

And as you’ll discover, there is no one-size-fits-all solution when is comes to improving your time management and productivity.

And there is no single, one hack that will suddenly solve all of your time management problems.

It will almost certainly take a combination of a few strategies to get you to where you want to be and I’m here to help.

I don’t profess to be some sort of guru that has everything all figured out.

Far from it. I’m on this journey too.

It could be that I’m a little further down the path than you.

Or maybe I’m not.

Either way, I’m happy to share my findings and opinions and if they help you even in a very small way, it will have been worth the effort.

The other thing is that I have experienced struggles in implementing many of the strategies I talk about here.

Most tips and advice on time management are very much based around mindset.

However, actions are required to make things happen and if you really want to see results, those actions need to become daily habits, which take time, sustained effort and discipline to build.

And that is where much of the struggle lies ultimately.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy the content here and that you can find some useful information with some real-world application that will have a positive impact on your life.

So, what are you waiting for? Time waits for no one!
